Introducing the Service Pledge

I'm thrilled to report that we've just launched what we're calling the Obama Works Service Pledge. It allows you to pledge hours of service to your community in the first year of the Obama administration.

We've gotten so many emails saying "what next?" - and that's a big question. But we're convinced that the best way to start is by collecting these pledges, these committments to the principles on which this campaign was run. It won't just be a symbol of support for President Obama: it will be a reminder to ourselves in a couple of months, when we're busy, tired and overworked of what this election - this movement - meant to us.
